Lis Janlee is a writer and worldbuilder who has spent nearly two decades immersed in the creation of The Trular Chronicles. Drawn to stories that blend wonder, mystery, and the quiet strength of ordinary people, she writes character-driven fantasy that explores courage, connection, and the unseen forces that shape us.

A lifelong storyteller, Lis brings together her background in communications and her love of mythology, science, and human emotion to craft imaginative worlds with deep roots. Children of Elium is her debut novel and the first book in her epic fantasy series, The Trular Chronicles.

Lis lives in Ohio, where she spends her days teaching, creating, and dreaming up new adventures.
